Dupree not moving back to linebacker

Alvin Bud Dupree

After practice today Mark Stoops told the media that Bud Dupree will remain at defensive end. Stoops mentioned the possibility of Dupree moving back to linebacker on his radio show last night, but for now, Dupree will keep his hand in the dirt with the defensive linemen. He did say Eliot has Dupree at linebacker in the 3-4, though. So there’s that.

Go Cats.

    So, are we a 4-3 or a 3-4?? Confused…

One player does not a team make. Or something like that.

We are still a base 4-3. but in certain situations like 3rd and long a 3-4 is obviously more effective, getting an extra linebacker in there. An easy transition as well considering Bud will be in there at DE. No substitutions necessary. Glad to see coach Elliot has this up his sleeve

Seems like a whole bunch of indecision and confusion amongst the cosching staff, starting at the top. Not a good sign.

Move Dupree wherever you want, we still don’t have a Dline that could stop the pilsbury dough boy. Triple option, run heavy offense, Miami o line will be leg whipping our boys to death, just like WKU. We better have a ton of speed and sure tackling or it will be a very very long day. Dive QB and pitch.
