Drew Barker received 115 handwritten letters from UK today
How much does UK want top 2014 QB Drew Barker? Enough to send him 115 handwritten letters in one day. The Conner High School QB posted the picture above on Instagram this afternoon with the caption “This is crazy…. UK sent 115 handwritten letters today.” Barker currently has offers from UK, Louisville, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vandy and Miami, among others.
Talk about a hand cramp.

Does this work? I always made fun of other schools for doing this. Oh well, if he commits then who cares.
If somebody sent me 115 letters about anything, I would immediately cut off all contact. But hopefully high school football stars react differently.
115 at once? How does this work? Is it because it was one letter a day from several staff members and they couldn’t send them before now because of a dead period? That’s the only way I can make sense of it. Regardless….get ’em Stoops and Brown!

I’d find this annoying if I were Drew. I mean really? What could call for 115 HAND WRITTEN LETTERS?? Stupid, annoying, and old fashion.
If Tom Crean did this with a recruit, you’d never hear the end of it from Matt and Drew. Just sayin.
We would like to thank Kentucky for all its efforts in keeping us relevant.
No offense, but we went 2-10 and 0-8 in the SEC last year, we have basically 8 successful seasons in the past 40 years, I’m extremely excited about this staff and where Stoops can take the program, but let’s not act like we as a program are above doing ANYTHING that will help us compete in the SEC. These coaches have all at one time or another been a part of big-time programs, I trust their judgement.
……and btw, Alabama does this on a consistent basis, look it up.

Let’s see where he ends up. I’m betting it’s UK. Some thought sending a half dozen coaches to Hatcher’s hs was dumb also. Guys like to go where they’re wanted. I think UK accomplished this today, if they hadn’t already
Top schools like Alabama, LSU, and Ohio State have done this with top recruits for years.

This kid plays at my old high school and trust me….he has talent. Sees the field very well, strong arm, plays under control, does not panic and can run if needed….I’d be OK to see him in blue and white.

He took our recruiting class to top 30 in what a month. I’m not questioning anything Stoops does.
Ive got some classes with this kid!last semester he just started throwing letters away without opening them haha. But he thought the 115 letter was cool! I think hes looking at UK and UT from what ive heard him say. I know hes a big fan of both. Always got a UK lanyard with his keys.

No wonder my freakin tuition is so damn high! This is absolutely ridiculous. The university pays for all that postage. You know they’re sending this many letters to more than one recruit.
