DraftExpress.com’s Updated Mock Drafts

Jonathan Givony, the man with the easiest, most irrelevant job in all of sports, has updated his 2013 and 2014 mock drafts over at DraftExpress.com.  The projections, like all NBA mock drafts, are nothing like how the actual drafts will play out, but it’s entertaining to read anyway.

Here are the names you recognize:

2013 NBA Draft

1.) Shabazz Muhammad, UCLA
2.) Nerlens Noel, Kentucky
3.) Cody Zeller, Indiana
4.) Alex Len, Maryland
5.) Anthony Bennett, UNLV
6.) Isaiah Austin, Baylor
7.) Alex Poythress, Kentucky
8.) Archie Goodwin, Kentucky

2014 NBA Draft

1.) Andrew Wiggins
2.) Julius Randle
3.) Andrew Harrison, Kentucky
4.) Jabari Parker, Duke
5.) Aaron Gordon

13.) Aaron Harrison, Kentucky
16.) Willie Cauley-Stein, Kentucky

Round 2:

9.) Ryan Harrow, Kentucky

Projecting the 2014 NBA draft is absurd to me outside of the top five selections.

And where’s James Young?

that might be the worst mock draft ever. based on most of the legitimate sports websites such as espn yahoo rivals etc..this is completely wrong for well both years

It would be an awkward situation if ryan harrow stayed. Not that I wouldn’t be happy if he did, but how do you justify starting him over andrew harrison? would be a great problem though.

I agree with #4. This kind of list is only destructive for a team like UK that is NOT currently ranked in the TEAM rankings! …I thought this site was for UK fans not NBA fans…

So, KSR, we get a post about the 2014 NBA draft but still haven’t gotten a post listing the recruits visiting campus jan 11th and 18th that’s probably close to 20 names long. What’s up?

    10) I’m posting from a phone so I can’t copy and paste. But I posted it in the cookware section if a post yesterday on Antoine Miles. A name that’s not on that list that I saw last night is 3* OT Kyle Meadows who is now scheduled to visit on the 11th as well.

    13) I found the post. Thanks for the information…my next few hours will be spent examining game footage now. BTW, a cookware section wouldn’t be such a bad idea…KSR could sell the tupperware that Ellen puts that delicious salad in.
