Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Did you get your NBA Draft Green Room Invite?

No? Neither did I. We’ll just have to live vicariously through Enes Kanter and Brandon Knight. The list of players invited to the NBA Draft Green Room is out and apparently you and I were left off the list:

Kyrie Irving
Derrick Williams
Enes Kanter
Brandon Knight
Kemba Walker
Jonas Valanciunas
Jan Vesely
Kawhi Leonard
Chris Singleton
Klay Thompson
Tristan Thompson
Jimmer Fredette
Marcus Morris
Alec Burks

I think it’s interesting that Marcus Morris of the Kansas twins was invited but not Markieff. Markieff will still go and sit with his brother, right? That’s going to be awkward when Marcus is filming bits and taking tours of the city while Markieff is back in the hotel with mama. Oh well.

Next order of business is finding out where Jorts will be watching the draft. We need a KSR sponsored viewing party in Lexington. Jorts, have your people contact my people. All of Big Blue Nation needs to be there when David Stern calls your name. And we miss Doug. Make it happen.

David Stern, “With the 4th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft the Cleveland Cavaliers pick Enes Kanter from Turkey.”

NBA Draft is usually pretty good. I am looking forward to Canter and Knight being teammates, Liggins going in late first round to a contender, and Jorts going in early second rate for team needing depth in the middle. At least that’s what I’m hoping for.
