Dick Vitale stops by UK’s Dance Blue Marathon

Dick Vitale, who is a huge supporter of cancer research, took a moment to stop by UK’s Dance Blue event late this afternoon. The students participating in the event are on the home stretch. Huge kudos to the students who have been at it for almost 24 hours now. Keep it up!

I once successfully requested "The Wobble" to be played 6 times at one wedding.

When do college coeds realize there is a different hair-style than straight with a part in the middle?

To everyone: DanceBlue is a life-changing experience. You will never know the true difference it makes until you dance or even attend the event. These college students have given up their entire weekend to stand up to pediatric cancer. Since 2006 (it’s first year) DanceBlue has raised over 5 million dollars for the newly renamed, DanceBlue KCH Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic. I am not posting this to be angry, but simply to let you know that DanceBlue and everything that is stands for is much more than 24 hours of no sitting or sleeping, 900 UK students giving up their weekend. DanceBlue is the opportunity to change a child’s life. To take away the pain they see and feel everyday not only for one night but hopefully, one day, forever. #ftk

You gotta love Dickie V for all the work that he does for the V Foundation. He has been a real trooper for that cause for many, many years. Nothing fake about his dedication in that regard.
