Who Wants Depth Chart Updates?

There are a couple of changes to Kentucky football’s depth chart with two games in the books and Western Kentucky less than a week away.

Here are some quick notes and then you can see the entire depth chart after the jump:

Bud Dupree will start at weakside linebacker. He’s also listed behind Taylor Wyndham at the Defensive End/Linebacker spot.

— Freshman Khalid Henderson will back up Dupree.

Tyler Brause dropped all the way to third string middle linebacker. He started at the WILL in the season opener.

—  Freshman Panco Thomas is listed behind Avery Williamson in the middle, ahead of Brause.

Gene McCaskill won his starting job back over Daryl Collins in the slot.

— Aaron Boyd will start for the second time this season, surprising no one.

Still a little surprised that we didn’t get 2 see more of Daryl Collins last week…thought he looked good first game.

That’s because brause is horrible! Kentucky is the only team that would try to take a qb and convert him to a TE only to try and convert him to a linebacker. If thats not pathetic i dont know what is

God knows we spend more time trying to convert qb’s into everything but qb’s than we do figuring out who’s actually worth a damn and who’s not. We’re sitting here celebrating an ass whooping of kent state. It’s kent state for God’s sake! We should destroy them. Im not impressed. We still gave up 400 yds to them. If we are happy with this game we shiuld just join th MAC.

More later, but I look for WKU to beat UK 28-24, setting the stage for a 2-10 season for Joker Phillips and company.

Didn’t see the game but how long did we keep our “starters” in to put the whooping on Kent State? Good thing Strong benched his starters in the 3rd qtr or we would have had to same to us last week.

#10 – I was at the game too and thought 45-48 was about right. 35 would be almost half and it was well over half-full. Students weren’t there at the beginning but showed up late. The good thing is it was as noisy with 48 there as I have heard it with 68K there. I expect 58-60K this weekend if it isn’t raining.

    Yeah, because we really sucked.

All i’m saying is there is a reason brause came into college as a qb, BECAUSE HE’S NOT A LINEBACKER! who in the hell puts a former qb at linebacker, oh wait we do, and what kind of SEC team hires their defensive coordinator from a high school team, oh wait we do, i have seen better defense by murray state football, that is sad, I never expect us to compete for a title, i just want us to compete, i hate watching games hoping we can keep it within 3 TD’s. defense is key in this league, and we have none, especially when we have freakin qb’s playing linebacker. and josh forrest i think will be just fine, but i dont believe he is a linebacker, especially not an sec linebacker, he was a wr in highschool, as well as a safety, i do think he would make a fine safety, but this linebacker/safety hybrid whatever u wanna call it is a joke, i say go ahead and fire minter and let him go back to coaching high school

I heard Willmott is Foster’s backup. Went to the game Saturday and he got a lot of reps in pre-game and was staying warm on the sideline. Also a talented very dancer!
