DeMarcus, Patrick and Chuck to stay in Sacramento

It appears the Sacramento Kings won’t be moving to Seattle after all. Multiple news outlets are reporting that the NBA’s relocation and financing committees voted unanimously against the move.

DeMarcus, Patrick and Chuck will keep their California addresses for at least another year.

Really surprised. Too bad for them. Seattle is way more fun than Sacramento.

Glad for the teams stay in Sac-Town. 2 and 3 can say what they want but those fans don’t deserve to have their team stolen from them. No reason that Seattle shouldn’t be able to start an expansion team, or maybe the Bucks a couple years down the road.

Seattle had their chance with the Thunder. Louisville should get a team before Seattle gets another one…

I heard while watching NBA this past weekend that cousins and John wall may be reunited with the Wizards next year. Anyone heard any more about this?

Seattle had their team taken because the city would not fund a new arena project, not because of fan support. Seattle was not even given a chance to keep their team like Sacramento was. David Stern has said Seattle will get a NBA team before any either city, but has also said he will not consider an expansion team. That being said, if they are going to move a team to Seattle it should be one of the 4/5 teams from Cali, they dont need all those teams.

    4. What makes you think the bucks will leave Milwaukee? I thought that was a pretty stable franchise.

#8 This UK alum/Kentucky native/Seattle-area resident is hella bummed. Screw Kevin Johnson….if he weren’t the mayor of Sacramento the team would already be in Seattle.
