Charles Ramsey must be a huge Sundy Best fan
The next 4 weeks for UK’s 2014 recruiting class is going to be absolutely incredible. The majority of schools are finishing up and recruits will have more time to visit schools. June 8-11 is setting up to be a huge recruiting period for UK. There is the “Saturday Night Primetime Camp” on June 8th were many top flight recruits with verbal offers from UK will attend and get a feel for the coaches, campus, academics, etc. and many other recruits will be attending hoping to earn an offer from UK. June 11th is setting up as possibly the largest unofficial visitor list in quantity and quality in UK history. Most if not all of the commits will be here over those 4 days looking to lock up some major talent.
UK currently has as many 4 star commits in the 2014 class with just over 8 months to go until NSD as they have ever had in a recruiting class on NSD. Aside from the stars, 6 of UK’s 7 commits are currently ranked in the top 35 in the nation at their respective position. The most UK has ever had in an entire recruiting class since 2002 is 5 players ranked in the top 35 nationally at their position. It has happened a few times, but before last year several of the players never made it to campus. Lastly, every UK commit has at least 2 other BCS offers besides UK including from the following schools: UC, IU, UL, Illinois, Miami (FL), Mississippi, UNC, Purdue, USC, UT, Vandy, Arkansas, Maryland, Michigan St., WVU, FSU, Minnesota, Missouri, Pitt, Georgia Tech, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio St., Penn St., Wisconsin, Aizona, Boston College, N.C. St., Oklahoma St., Rutgers, and Syracuse. Currently ranked 18th in team rankings, UK is in prime position over the next 5 weeks to take a major step up in the rankings.
Beginning next week, I am of the belief that UK will pick up 5-8 additional commits by the time the calendar hits July 1st. Darius West is scheduled to make an announcement on May 30th. All indications point to UK winning this one. If you have been on this site and following recruiting you know what I mean when I say I am as confident in UK landing Darius West as I was with Drew when he committed. That should set the tone for Mike Edwards and he won’t be far behind. I know there is a belief from what he has said in interviews that he plans on taking a couple of visits. I don’t believe it and think sometime between 3:00 on May 30th to the end of the day on May 31st, Mike will publicly announce for UK. I don’t believe we will have any more commits before the huge 4 days of recruiting visits from June 8-11, but I wouldn’t be surprised if somebody else did announce during that time period. After June 11th and up until June 30th I am certain UK will land 3 more commits and believe it could be as many as 6 more. The ones likely to announce just after June 11th are Stanley “BOOM” Williams, Matt Elam, Jarrett LaRubbio, Brady Taylor, and Derek Kief. In fact, I will go on record and say Stanley Williams and Matt Elam will announce by the end of that week (June 14th). Derek Kief is scheduled to visit Alabama June 8-9 and Clemson June 10-11. Look for him to cancel the Clemson visit and make his way back to UK for a visit June 10-11. With Mike Edwards on board, I believe Derek will verbal to UK sometime in June. Another name to keep an eye on is Marcelys Jones. I have heard that he, Lattimore, and Smith might be part of the huge visit list. The thing with that group is there is so much pressure to play for OSU that I am not sure Jones will be ready to announce his flip yet or not. I feel very confident that he will flip, when I am not sure. Getting many of these guys on board by the end of June will be huge momentum going into the last month before practice starts for the season.
All in all, the next 5 weeks should be an exciting time for UK football fans. I know i am pumped about what i am hearing could possibly happen over the next few weeks. You will want to check this board as often as possible as news should be plentiful.
Drew can use the atlas to find all the counties in Eastern Ky. He can plan the Summer Affiliate Tour with Matt. Good times wool be had by all.

Matt, when a toilet flushes, poo particles fly through the air and land on stuff.
If the tray touches the floor, it will get contaminated by urine and fecal matter. He has to pick it up and carry, at which point, the bacteria would be transferred to his hands. Also, there is a chance that things “drip” or “drop” onto the snow cones while they sit on the floor. It’s nasty, Matt. Unacceptable, and the guy should have been canned.
It’s when he finishes up in the bathroom. What if he wipes standing up? What if his pubic hair falls in the snow cone. What if a little pee adds to the flavoring of the ice…always beware of the yellow snow.

I liked Tyler’s post about the coaching of top talent. However, I not sure she should have given an extra point for overall #1 Draft pick. Top 5 is probably good enough. The top pick has something to do with luck of the lottery. The team with the first pick doesn’t always take the best player, but the best player at the position that they need. That doesn’t change the fact that Cal is awesome.

Bama is looking at his as a backup option if they dont get Scott, Dupree or Kitt. OSU is in the same boat, Kief is a backup option, not a primary target which is why he will end up at UK.

I don’t know what Matt had to apologize for, but he’s spent a lot of time running Cross down on the air. If you’re a sports talk show host and you think another guy’s show stinks, fine, but you don’t have to beat your chest and shout it from the mountaintop. Sounds like some chickens may have come home to roost.
Wasn’t some statement made about Cross selling advertising and misrepresenting it? Hmmmm?
Matt has always had beef with Chris Cross because he always thought that he would be CC’s successor on “The Huddle”. When he realized CC wouldn’t give it to him, he became bitter.
Matt having a beef with Criss Cross doesn’t change the fact that Tony Vanetti has the best sports show in Lexington in the afternoon. Criss Cross must have some dirty photos of the LM in LM Communications. (I know Tony Vanetti is not in Lexington)
