Davis added as a finalist for the Olympic roster

Sports Illustrated is reporting that Anthony Davis has been added as a potential candidate to compete for Amurrica in the London Games this summer. The opportunity for Davis to make the roster became available thanks to a long list of injuries for Team USA. One other player will be added to the list but it will not be DeMarcus Cousins; he was just added to the select team that will practice with Team USA in Las Vegas this summer.

Land of the free, and home of the BROOOOOOOWWWWW!
If he makes the team it will be epic!
Anthony Davis is a great American!
D Cuz is a proven NBA player, weird why they’ll take Davis over him
USA, USA, USA!!!!!!!!
6. Probably because of Cousins’ shit earlier this year.
@DB11 probably because it’s FIBA rules, and guys who can cover multiple positions and do multiple things are more valuable than classic NBA post guys.
Even though it is great for both Davis and UK, I don’t agree with this selection. He has never played in the NBA or against professional competition. I just think that it would be better to pick someone with NBA experience and don’t risk Davis getting hurt before he even plays an NBA game.
U liberals see you brothers and sisters breaking windows, throwing bricks and cussing the cops yesterday? u should be proud! Now, back to the deer talk.
NATIONAL CHAMPS!!
junior seau commtited suicide 🙁
#10) I believe it’s a good decision. What they would essentially be doing is giving a nod to the first time NBA players played in the olympics (1992). The 12th spot came down to Shaq and Laettner b/c they wanted a college athlete on the team. It’s no different than that. It’s not like Davis, Boogie or whomever the 12th roster post would be getting major minutes. It would pretty much be garbage time for the lucky individual when the game is over or everyone fouls out. You have to remember, in the international world, Bron, Melo adn KD can really be power forwards.
