Is Robert Nkemdiche still “visiting” UK or is KSR becoming like ESPN reporting on the Manti Te’o story?

Correct me if I’m wrong but “preferred walk-on” I believe means he doesn’t have to go through any tryouts and gets financial aid priorities.

Sort of like the dude in ‘Rudy’ whose Dad was a legacy and had “scholarship offers from 3 Big Ten Schools” but got a lot of family pressure. Just like that. No, not Vince Vaughn.

Cincinnati GCL is a great place to start to bolster a roster

If they can develop him this year, he will probably get a scholarship. We always need hogs on both sides of the ball. By doing this,Stoops is putting Cincinnati high schools on notice that he’s interested in what they have to offer. Good move here, folks.

Man, I am just gonna love being at Moeller games and seeing a UK coach or two show up to watch the players every once in a while.

I was technically a preferred walk on in college, you are ineligible your freshman year . I know in my instance it was because I had an academic ride so I didn’t have to deduct from the athletic money. Preferred walk on doesn’t necessarily mean he’s garbage, the staff may be taking advantage of a scholly loophole.

Some in-state guys that would be good preferred walk-on offers:

-J. Canady, Knox Central, ATH, has full offer from Air Force

    -Jackson kid from Mayfield

    -Logan Cart, DT/OT, Owensboro
