Dakotah Tyler out for the year

Max Smith’s left ankle wasn’t the only piece of bad news on Kentucky’s injury report today; safety Dakotah Tyler also received some awful news following a knee injury in Saturday’s game. Tyler will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a torn ACL┬áduring a Kentucky kick return in the second half against South Carolina. He’ll be out until next summer.

Daron Blaylock, a freshman, will be called on to provide depth in the secondary in place of Tyler.

Rashawn will be by with more from practice in just a bit.

Division 2 might be the place to be. Its sad news for this young man. We looked tired in the 3rd quarter sat night and your going to get hurt when you get tired playing in the sec.I quess there’s nothing that can be done about it.

If we look at the past, Tyler will be out all of next season, maybe he will be day to day by week 7 or 8. Good example, Josh Clemons. Coshik Williams is hurt every other snap. Rafael Little and Derrick Locke were both hurt when they arrived at UK and stayed that way off and on.

UK gets the banged up, hand me downs from the other SEC schools. It’s true, you may not like it, but it’s true.

    6. Yet people still believe the lie that Derek Anderson was ready to come from a torn ACL a month and a half after surgery 15 years ago.

That said, Adrian Peterson tore his ACL week 16 last year and was back week 1.
