Game day is nigh, and Sly Croom is scared. With the much-anticipated Randall Cobb Experience set to begin this weekend, Croom has taken his trepidation to the local news outlets.
First, he describes Cobb as “scary.” Next, he compares him to Chris Relf, whoever the hell that is:
“He throws the ball well, reminds me a lot of our Chris Relf, probably a little further advanced,” Croom said. “But his ability to pull the ball down and run is extremely scary. They spread the field a lot, and to cover their receivers, to try to get some pressure on their quarterback, will definitely afford him some creases to pull the ball down and run.”
So there you have it. Randall Cobb is like Chris Relf. Only better.
Relf, incidentally, is the Bulldogs redshirt freshman third string QB and has yet to see the field. I don’t see it as a fair comparison, but what do I know.
You’ll have to wade through a bunch of crap about how MSU sucks at tackling, but the UK talk is at the bottom.
