Late last week, the Sacramento Bee reported that the Kings are interested in trading for Houston’s Aaron Brooks. A Houston Rockets sportswriter took the rumor and plugged a scenario into the ESPN Trade Machine. The possible trade would be Sacramento’s Demarcus Cousins and Carl Landry to Houston for Aaron Brooks, Patrick Patterson, Jarred Jeffries (for his expiring contract), and a draft pick. Sacramento would get its guy, Aaron Brooks. The Rockets would finally have a big man to replace Yao Ming (Chuck Hayes has been starting at center.) And the money is even on both sides.
Take a further look into this trade here. It probably won’t actually happen but it’s crazy to think two of our all-time favorite Kentucky players could be swapped halfway through their rookie seasons.
