Countdown to Signing Day!!

Michael McAdoo

National signing day is quickly approaching and the recruiting battles around the country are heating up at a ferocious pace. The Kentucky Wildcats are coming off back to back bowl victories for the first time since 1950-51, and the recruiting momentum is gaining steam as the Cats look to elevate from consistent bowl team to SEC title contender.

Leading up to signing day, every day there will be an update on KSR whether it be pertaining to a recruiting target that Coach Brooks and staff are after, current commitments, and breaking down the class with evaluation of how the 2008 recruiting class will impact the Wildcats beginning next season and in the future.

Today’s hot topic-

Michael McAdoo6’7 220 DEAntioch (TN) Antioch

McAdoo prepares to rush the quarterback

Offer Sheet:  Kentucky, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Ole Miss, South Carolina

Michal McAdoo fell in love with Kentucky when he made is official visit to Lexington in December. He has kept a close eye on the progress that the Wildcats have made the past two seasons, and it could eventually bring a verbal commitment from the defensive end specialists.

The coaching staff is very high on the potential of Michael, as they have promised him a shot of winning a starting job if he works hard enough in the fall. Adding significant weight this off season could help that goal become attainable, as speed is no problem for this 6’7 4.7 forty yard dash sprinter. If you look, here again the Cats are in perfect shape to land another high profile recruit who has offers from some very, very good schools.

Commitment prediction: Going to come down between Kentucky and North Carolina. Has visited both and loved everything that both schools have to offer. Only time will tell. My prediction…….Coin flip.
