IMO, IF there was a foul on that play, it should have been on Lamb. Blown call either way, but it happens.

Never too old. My father’s (50 years old) way of watching the game is muting the TV, turning on Tom Leach, and pacing around the house. He can never sit down during the game, and I doubt the only time he will sit is when his body wont let him pace anymore.

  22. cats1068
    10:14 am January 2, 2012 Permalink

No way, Matt. I watched it again, also. Lamb got there first and Siva came over Lamb’s shoulder. Even Mr NBA Kellogg said it was a foul. It’s 50/50 if you’re side by side, not when you come over the shoulder.

  23. Kidnut
    10:14 am January 2, 2012 Permalink

Stop crushing Jones please, he hustled his tail off and got several man-like rebounds. His scoring will return but we need his hustle.

  24. RickyPRetirementTour
    10:16 am January 2, 2012 Permalink

RickyP’s theory is to foul so much that the ref’s can not call them all. When Lamb turned the ball over at the end of the game Smith had his arm around Lamb and pulled him down, but no foul was called.

Ashley Judd’s Botox is disturbing. With her permanent smile and puffy cheeks, she now looks like Jack Nicholson’s “The Joker” character from the Batman movie. Her eyes are now locked on “squint.” Lay off the Botox, Ashley. Unrelated, the small “cutesy” children callers to the radio show, who stutter and stammer and struggle to organize their comments, who are clearly put up to calling in and being coached what to say by their pinhead parents, are annoying. They really need to go play Wii and leave the call-in comments to the big kids.

Behanan got the T for flipping the ball on T-Jones while he was on the ground. The officials were not going to let the game get out of control and it is a taunt. I don’t know if any verbal warnings were made to Behanan before that but the fact was he was jacked up.

Behanan flipped the ball on Jones in the manner of “you flopped, Jones.” He had that look and the ref saw that and called it to keep the game from getting out of hand. Watch the replay. When I was growing up playing basketball, that was considered a punk A move. When you flip the ball at someone, stepping over someones face, etc., those are punk A moves.

Davis leads the team in Blocks, Steals, Rebounds and FG %. He is the man no doubt.
Poor card fans argue that Russ Smith was the best player in the game.. MKG was undoubtedly the best player on the court, 24 points 19 rebounds had a much larger impact over the course of the game. I’d say Russ Smith comes in 3rd behind MKG and Davis.

Another problem we did against the press was instead of going to the middle of the court at half-court, we kept running to the corner, and then we would get trapped AND right at the sideline and half court line, aka the worst possible spot to go to in the press!

As long as Cal can drill it into their hands to flash to the middle of the court, our press offense will improve tenfold. Oh, and Wiltjer should NEVER be in the backcourt against the press.
