Come and get your presale code for the Alumni Game

pros-500x356

Presale tickets for the UK Alumni Charity Game go on sale in 15 minutes on Ticketmaster, and because we love you, we’re going to share the presale code. Use the code “ALUMNI” to get the best seats for one of the coolest new traditions in Kentucky basketball.

All seats are reserved and priced at $50 (premium lower level), $20 (lower level), $10 and $5 (upper level). There is an eight-ticket limit per person. All proceeds from the game will go to charity. The rest of the tickets go on sale Friday morning at 10 a.m.

So far, a UK spokesman says twelve pros have been confirmed from the 2010 and 2012 teams, and they’re still trying to add two missing starters.

Center court, lower level, row D. Nice!

Weird thing is, the first tickets it pulled up were corner lower level and were $58. I changed it to the $27 tickets and got sideline row D. It seems like sideline would be more expensive than corner, but I’m not complaining!

It was weird, kept giving me bad seats, finally got section 32 row S, this was 2 minutes after they opened. :p

2 $6 tickets end up costing $24. No thanks ticketmaster. I think I’ll go to the Rupp ticket office on Friday.

#4, #5: Yea, it seemed rather arbitrary as to what tickets you get. The first ones I pulled up (at 10:01) were Sect. 13, Row J. Not bad for $27. But I left my wallet with my credit card in my car, so I had to search again! I got Sect. 38, RR. I ended up with some pretty good ones, but I had to search quite a few times. You just have to keep at it, to get ones that aren’t in the corner….

Why is the court and seating chart arranged like a concert for this game?

There really aren’t many bad seats in Rupp.

Any idead why section 38 row HH is showing up as VIP seating for only $27 a ticket? I’m not complaining since I bought these tickets at about 10:30am, just wondering what the VIP was all about?

They love to put the bad seats for sale when you first search, and newbies buy them thinking they are getting the “best seats available”. If you keep searching, especially the next day or two, the bad seats get sold, and then they list the better seats. I don’t like dealing with their BS.

I called ticketmaster at 11 and they were sold out in lower level except for top rows on either end or corner. Went with row 1 in upper level instead. We are staying in Lexington that night. Any good bars to go to around Rupp?

Section 33 row CC. Got these seats about 15 minutes after they went on sale. Ticketmaster is so weird. And #14 there are good bars to go to around Rupp but none on a Monday night 🙁
