Try to remember that these are just kids playing a game. We love them and we get so fired up about the way they play, but at the end of the day they’re just kids. And they ALL need the support of BBN right now. Perspective, folks.

I’m not going to let this ruin my season. I will continue to support this team and am not going to get down on them or throw in the towel just yet. Cal will coach em up and have them ready for the tourney. Just wait, all you ass holes talking smack will be eating your own words. I happen to like gameday! We had a blast last time they were here and we expect to do so this time around. Haters go unlame yourselves!

It’s time we as members of the #BBN step up and rally around this team. The haters smell blood and will devour us if given the opportunity, let’s show them the depth of our loyalty during a tough time.
    GO CATS!!

While looking at the next game, I came across this fromthe AP wire…

Feb 13th 2013 Tennessee has self-reported 10 NCAA secondary violations, including three in men’s basketball.

Looks like infractions occured from August ’12 forward. Still trying to see what it’s all about.

Agree with others – in spite of how the season has shaped up so far, the rest of the kids on this team need our support and encouragement. Let’s show the nation that we are in fact the greatest fans in college basketball and pack the house for College Gameday. I will continue to support this team no matter what happens. Hopefully these kids will rally around Nerlens’ injury and turn it up a few notches on the court. Happens sometimes!

Two ways this can go, the team comes together and adapts a Noelish battle attitude and honor their fallen teammate with an aggressive, all hustle all the time team-first approach, or, as some lame UK “fans” are doing, write the season off. At this point, the former may be dreaming, but it is a possible outcome. Our guards should listen to Dickie V’s assessment of their play last night and be embarrassed in to waking up as to their ACTUAL demonstrated performance. The talent spread in today’s NCAA is pretty thin between the younger blue chippers and the experienced college guys. It is the heart and fire for TEAM that the CATS are missing this year, I’ll never forget the “THAT IS WHO I AM” moment for Darius Miller last year when we needed a big basket and he got it, FOR THE TEAM. We need a handful of our guys to have that kind of moment and have it NOW!!!

#7, the article says “One of the men’s basketball violations involved holding open individual skill instruction before a football game. During that session, recruits making official visits were allowed to attempt shots while coaches were present. The others were inconsistencies in the camp registration process and prohibited grocery shopping services for student-athletes.”

Wasn’t Bruce Pearl in the grocery business after he left UT? Hmmmmm…

The season is over. Who cares? No reason to go.

It would be cool if Nerlens were to be the “Y” for this game. Someone should make that happen and have it aired on ESPN.

Specifically to prove to future recruits and the rest of the nation that we’re not all like Joe #14 up there. BBN for life. During the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Anyone who says the season is over, who cares, no reason to go is not a real fan. He’s probably a troll. This is when we show who we are as the BBN. We support our team even when they are having a tough season. Especially when they are having a tough season. This is when they need us the most. Let’s fill Rupp for Gameday. Remember we have unfinished business with Digger and he needs to listen to us. He needs to listen to us support our guys in dark times. He needs to listen to us lift up our coach who is struggling with a very young team. He needs to listen to us in our house proclaim that we are the Big Blue Nation in good times and in bad times and that we will always love our team.

17 – No need to remind the REAL fans – and there are PLENTY of them. Let the fair-weathers and trolls run amok – we don’t need them anyway. I have full faith that the real BBN will support this team for the rest of this season.

18 – Sometimes I think I need to stop reading the comments sections because so many people are so negative. It gets depressing. I understand some of them are very frustrated and just sounding off but the negativity won’t help anyone. We got second row seats! I hope we have a full house.
