I have a ring on my finger, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

If I was Calipari, I would wear the ring on my middle finger.

Matt you said on the show today that Cal,doesn’t get bothered by these statements and that he doesn’t even pay attention. Sounds to me he does. They asked his fellow peers he didn’t come out with a statement when some of them voted him in the top 5 of underrated, so why is he upset that he is the top preceived cheater! To me he is petty you hardly ever see if any coach K,Roy,Izzo responding unprofessionally to things heck even Rick only responds when he is forced to and thats only cause Cal, picks at him like a little girl.

    3) Roy Williams? Are you serious? He had a fan kicked out of the gym & he has a post-game meltdown a couple of times a year.

Cal doesn’t sound like he is bothered to it. He simply says to allow no one to steal our joy, and this is exactly how I see it. All that matters are the players and their parents. They are not taken in by these idiots.

    3) I’d also like to add that UNC is in the middle of an academic scandal affecting the b-ball team. Roy hasn’t been an oak.

@3 – You dumbass. Calipari wasn’t tweeting that for his own benefit because *he* was upset about it. He was saying it for the benefit of UK fans that are up in arms over the CBS article and/or Goodman’s comments.

@4, I hear you and understand that. My point in a nutshell Cal,should act more like a professional and not tweet and make these little get back jabs he’s to old for that and those other coaches laugh and say watch him say something. I remember him when he was at C-usa, how childish he and Chaney acted. He has a championship ring now so mhe needs to carry himself a diffrent way now.

@10 how the heck do you sound , you are on here every day just like me commenting on any and every thing that is UK related. That we preceive to be negative against our BBN. Sometimes in life you have to be unbiased about people and things.I don’t live in a blue house anymore, when i was younger I was a crazy fanatic too old for that crap now.

It is easy to say things when you don’t have to prove it or give your name or anything. I “think” a lot of things about Jerry Tipturd, but can’t prove them, but, if asked in a survey knowing no one would know who said what,I would have a lot of opinions about him. If they (the “coaches”) have something, man up and use your name and say it.

Cal is in a no win situation with this. If he responds,he catches Hell. If he remains quiet, he is guilty, scared to comment, catches hell. His ring does look good, doesn’t it!!!!!!

Coach Cal is the best coach in college basketball, period. He will be a GOD before he retires. No other coach can touch him in recruiting or coaching. He gets the elite players in the country to play as a team and not for themselves. We had guys on this year’s team that could have averaged 25 points a game if they played anywhere else but UK. But they buy bought into Cal’s system and look what happened. Those guys would have never jelled as a team at Duke or Carolina they would have been fighting over who scored the most points. Cal I hope you stay at Kentucky until you call it quits. You brought Kentucky back to the top of the basketball world and I got a feeling we are going to be there for quite some time. Can’t wait for number 9. Go Cats

if cal was coaching at duke, unc, kansas you all would be saying he was the biggest cheater in the game. look at what he did at umass and memphis would be your cries!!! you hated him and called him a walking violation before he was your guy. now you love him and he is soooo successful because he doesn’t have to cheat and he is at kentucky!!!! you guys are the funniest joke going. it is not possible that you guys really believe he isn’t cheating, is it??? Cannot be that dumb, can you?

#24 That is right, you didn’t state any facts, you just opened your mouth and crap fell out. I never thought Cal was a cheater at Umass or Memphis. The fact is he can flat out coach. All you have to do is look back to the 1996 season. He beat our championship team that many argue was UK’s deepest and most talented team ever. He did that with team that didn’t have the big name stars we did. Granted, Camby was a stud but the big name schools like UK,UNC,Duke,Kansas etc didn’t exactly beat down the doors to recruit Dingle, Bright, Padilla and Travieso. Cal beat us that season and played us tough in the final four that year. He did it with hard work and effort. That is what he has done with recruiting. He has out worked these other coaches and has built up his name as the coach that will develop your skills and get you to the NBA the quickest. Let’s face it, that is all the recruits really care about. So these lazy whiny coaches that brand him a cheater need to work harder at recruiting and spend less time at Porcini’s or however else they spend their time. I will continue to support Cal 100% until someone shows proof that he is cheating, until then, all these people with no proof need to keep their mouths shut.
