As a Cleveland Browns fan, I am excited about Noel possibly going to Cleveland… although the reason I am a Browns fan is because they drafted a UK player 1st in 1999… I hope this works out a little differently. Can’t wait for the show on Friday, I just hope we get The Truth to call in to talk to Charles Ramsey…or that Charles reveals he, Dave, and Kige are cousins.

OK, so I gave football stats that compared Joker to Mark Stoops recruiting wise that were misleading. The rivals rating system changed in 2012 so the results were skewed. I did update them according to the new system though and here is how it broke down:
2009 — UK totaled 1500pts (41st ranked)
2010 — UK totaled 1455pts (50th ranked)
2011- UK totaled 1500 pts (61st ranked)
2012- UK totaled 1410pts (62nd ranked)
In this span of time UK’s avg star rating was never above 3. Joker had a total of 9 four star players. Of 80 players over the span of those years the majority of the class was at a rivals 5.5 rating or lower (Scale is 5.2 — 6.1) so the lower half of the rating scale. Out of 80 players, 68 of them were at that level or below, a whopping 85%.
2013 — When Stoops took over UK’s Class was 72nd in team rankings. They are now 29th. Average star rating of 3.05. 3 four star players. OF that 1 class, 15 of the 20 players that count towards the rating system were a rivals rating of 5.6 or higher.
2014- UK with who they have now has 727pts. (16th in the nation)(Avg Star 3.43)
UK with Edwards, West and Kief- 1043pts (tied for 7th +or- 1)(Avg Star 3.5)
UK with Elam, Berrios and Ware — 1358pts with 7 more spots that are allowed in the rivals ranking system. ( Right now that’s good for 3rd in the nation but more teams will add more players too) (Avg star 3.53).
With just those guys, Stoops will have totaled 10 four star players in 2 years, cracked the top 30 with a strong possibility of cracking the top 15 in 2014. PLUS HE STILL HAS 7 SPOTS TO FILL WITH POINTS. Say he only gets 3-star players for those next 7 spots. That’s nearly 600 more points which would put us at 1958 total points. In 2012 1958 was good enough for the 15th best class in the nation.I still think UK gets a couple more 4 star guys which can push it to around 2100pts which was good enough to be just outside the top 10.

In your interview on Friday with Charles Ramsey, you need to ask him what he thinks about Nerlens potentially going to Cleveland.
That Cleveland Cavs kid that Matt is trashing suffers from a horrible genetic disease and has been through a lot in his life. He’s a lot older than he looks.
I have seen where most people from Cleveland do not want Nerlens because he is too skinny and has a hurt knee and won’t play till Jan. They want McLemore or Otto Porter..

Dan Gilbert’s son at the lottery is getting a little gimmicky and annoying, but I’m not sure I’d go on calling him a twerp and say he gets beat up at school all the time, especially given his condition.

He has Neurofibromatosis and it causes tumors to come up all over his body. He’s had surgery that has cost him part of his vision and he’s been through Chemo a few times.
I can’t tell if he is a little a$$hole on top of that, or if he is just off because of all of the medical issues.

The draft is rigged. Last year the nba took owner of the New Orleans hornets last year and miraculously they get the #1 pick weeks after they found a buyer. And now more lebron pitty. They give them the number 1’pick the year after the decision and another 2 years later. The team with the best odds has only won 3 times in 20+ years

IF Lebron leaves the Heat when his contract is up, he’s not going to go back to Cleveland after everything that happened when he left.
If he leaves, he will go to the place that gives him the best chance to win more titles. Why not go to a place like the Clips, or the Knicks, or a place like that that should have good players for a while and still be good in 2 years. Heck, could you imagine if he teamed up with OKC? My God, they could own the NBA for 10 years with Durant, Lebron, and Westbrook.
You can tell whether or not people follow the NBA by their comments on who attends the NBA Draft Lottery.

The flag represents the country. The song/poem is about a fort being shelled mercilessly but during each explosion the light showed that our flag was still there waving proudly and it inspired all who saw it. It represents that no matter what happens the flag/America and all they represent will survive.
Using the opinion of the words being hard to understand or saying it is outdated as reasons to change it is completely unfounded. Shakespeare is hard to understand and the language is outdated. Should we stop teaching it in favor of a book by Larry the cable guy because its easier to read and people can relate to it more? Of course not. Random question about transfers: Under what authority can a coach or a school keep a player from transferring from one school to certain other schools? You hear about players being prevented from transferring to schools within the same conference or on their old school’s schedule. Where does their old school get this power? Does it have to do with signing the scholarship for the next year? Does this have something to do with the distinction between single year and multi-year scholarships?

We know life on earth was improbable and required the accidental binding of certain self replicating molecules. Since god would necessarily be more complex than earthly life, we can assume the existence of such a complex entity would be more improbable than life on earth. And you should read Lawrence krauss’s book “why there is something rather than nothing.” Empty space is demonstrably unstable and can spontaneously create particulate matter. Pretty fascinating stuff
Be aware that WKU fans that are talking smack, while they may be WKU alums, are actually UofL and UT fans! Much of WKU’s enrollment is made up of Louisville and Nashville natives. That’s where the trash is coming from. I am a WKU who has always been a UK fan.
