Central’s Anthony Wales went ham

If you haven’t heard of Anthony Wales before, you’re hearing about him now. Louisville Central’s running back rushed for 261 yards and four touchdowns on 27 attempts, he caught one pass for 73 yards and a touchdown, and he returned one kick for a touchdown. The kick return was on an onside kick attempt. Wales fielded the ball for the receiving team, ran to the opposite sideline, and cut it back past the coverage for a score.

Wales is Rivals.com’s third best player in the state of Kentucky for the 2012 class and he holds an offer from Kentucky. And after today, we definitely want him.

Watch out for the Red Devils in Owensboro. Prince, the coach, has some players. Last nite, less than 20 secs into the game, touchdown. final score 34- something against Appolo

Being the 3rd best player in KY is not saying much. We do need to get the best in the state to come to Lexington but it’s not like KY is pumping out 4 and 5 star football prospects right and left. Sad but true.

He was on the news channel 11 in Louisville saying he’s going to UK. The whole interview was him talking up UK and couldn’t wait to represent.

    Who did Central play?
I’ll reserve my praise until I know that. There are plenty of guys who have gaudy numbers against subpar competition.
