74/75 we get beat by IU by 24 points in regular season. Of course NCAA puts us in same bracket and we meet IU again that season when they are still undefeated and #1 in March. So we beat them the 2nd time and go all the way to the championship game. Cats win rest of games this year and get #8.

We lost by 24 in Dec. and beat them in March. This years team looks better and better also.
13….Look at the cats year in 1974/75. He is simply talking about the team improving.
bung, that’s when after the game they caught Knight in the restroom crying his eyes out, and ever since that game Knight has had a hard on for UK. Joe B. had shown Knight what UK basketball was about.

There are so many great college basketball that has been through UK Program. But only few we can point to and say are true student-athletes. When I think of true student-athlete these names comes to mind Tayshaun Prince, Patrick Patterson, and Brandon Knight. I have a feeling Knight will come back for maybe one or two season to complete his education. If he is not a lottery pick by the end of the season then he will be back to finish school and improve his stock. Education seemed to be drilled into him from the very early age in his childhood and like Patterson he will complete his degree work ahead of schedule.
Guess Josh is kinda confused on where exactly Hawaii is on a map.

Knight will be outstanding. Miller and Hood will be great forwards.
Speaking of that 75 team, Dr. Bob Guyette is a pretty good role model also.
Maybe Jorts needs to go to college for another 7 years to study a globe!
