Cats take 5 out of 7 major sports matchups with Cards take in 2010-11 season

As we inch towards the 2011-12 sports season, there is one goal that needs to become a serious priority for Mitch Barnhart and Co.  That is don’t let Louisville beat you more often than not.  While Kentucky took the major sports matchups (football, basketball, baseball, softball) in 5 of 7 meetings, the overall count went the Dirty Cards way in the 2010-11 season by a 12-10 count.  This includes tournaments where UK and UL were not the only participants.  Now, as we Kentucky fans like to do, there are ways that we can actually insult UL fans with this fact.  For instance:

“It’s good to see you beat us when the game isn’t on TV.”

“Oh, how adorable.  Your girls golf team is better than ours.  Good for you little brother.”

Things like that.  Football gets the ball rolling for this sports season against Louisville.  That is a win, right?  After that, I am expecting more good things to come from an awesome womens and mens basketball team, softball, and others.

    1) Honesty hurt much? You act like he made up these scores. And he was highlighting that we won the sports that counted most. Get out of your big blue bubble of hate towards everybody that doesn’t suck UK weiner and just have fun and be a fan. Damn, people that get so bothered about this blog just need to get a life!

Did they play “head to head” in those tournaments? If not, this is a bit of a stretch, especially leaving out the NCAA tourney. They were both in that, and UK made it just a tiny bit farther than UL.

    10) Why is it trash to post that UK beat Louisville in every major sport this season except women’s basketball? Oh, because you are loser who thinks you are SUPPOSED to hate me rather than actually read the post. Got it. BTW, guys like you keep me writing on the site because you give me so much humor.

    12) you need to find something better to do with your life if you only, “keep writing on this site”, because people tell you how much you suck. If that’s true you aren’t you pretty much just a poor man’s Jerry Tipton? Food for thought.

    2. Totally agree. We should also post the ’92 Duke game after every post.

I see you have never posted a retraction (or even a response at all) on the thread about the greatest program of all time. Understandable, because that post was total trash and lunacy, and also due the fact you got OWNED in it.

By the way, here’s a few more facts for you, UCLA has 103 NBA draft picks, not 108. How you get 108 is because that UCLA is counting 5 players that transferred from UCLA prior to being drafted. These do not count as a school’s draft picks (and neither UK or UNC does this), but most people are too lazy to do a little research to find out the truth. However, I was wrong as well, for I thought UCLA had 97 picks, so that makes UK #2 in this category, not #1. UNC is third in this category with 98 picks (you were wrong on this as well).

Further, you neglected to list the 1930’s in this little research project of yours. I wonder why, as major college basketball’s first decade of national tournaments and rule changes was the 1930’s. Both the NIT and NCAA Tournaments started in the 1930’s, and the 30’s was the first true decade of great national interest in college basketball. It was also the decade of many of the first truly great players in college basketball history, as well as many innovations of the game. By the way, UK was the “team” of the 1930’s in many historians observations, and certainly no worse than #2 behind NYU (but far ahead of UNC, Kansas, or UCLA).

I would really like for you to make any “updated” post on this subject, including all the important statistics that you missed the first time around, and also including the 1930’s. Use the same scoring system if you wish (although it is very flawed), and then see how it comes out. How about a response on this, please?

    14) you need to find somethin better to do with your life than worry about a guy
writing on a blog. If you don’t like what he writes then dont read it. Food for thought.

    14) No, I don’t keep writing because people say I suck. I keep writing because it makes me laugh so much that people care that much about a blog about a college team that is meant to be fun and ridiculous. It adds a ton of fun and humor in my life, so I keep writing. And besides, its the 2% of people that actually comment that say that. I have mets hundreds of KSR fans and never once have heard a negative thing about my posts or the site. Why? Because those people can put what we do at KSR in perspective and not get so worked up about little things.

Plus, the amount of women KSR gets us is absurd. Hahaha.

Well..take out the women sports… and UK wins the series 7-4 which is what freaking matters.
BTI…you haven’t met me yet…and when you do…I assure you, you will be able to say….I’ve met tons of people and only 1 said I SUCK.
If people didn’t get worked up for the little things…..why do you write the little things? At least you finally admit, the shit you write means nothing…….so quit writing.

A football win is not guaranteed for UK this year… UK’s women’s basketball team will take a loss to Louisville…

This is just another way for UK fans to feel as if they’ve had a successful season. Basing your teams success on beating an in state rival just shows that you have no faith that UK will ever win a BCS Bowl, go to a women’s final four, or go to a CWS, or even win a conference title in something other than mens hoops for that matter.
