Cats take a break from camp to hit the pool

As I mentioned earlier in the notes, Kentucky football enjoyed the afternoon at a local pool, after three good practices in a 26 hour period. The Cats practiced in full pads Monday morning, followed by workouts in helmets and shoulder pads Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.

“With three practices in that period of time, they worked to push themselves through it,” Phillips said Tuesday.  “We had an emphasis on passing (in Tuesday’s practice), with a lot of 7-on-7 and some work on blitzing.”

The team returned to meetings after the swim this afternoon. They’ll be back on the field tomorrow.

Go Cats.

While you guys are playing in the pool and having ice cream breaks this summer, just know that Louisville and your SEC opponents will be practicing, lifting and studying film.

Enjoy your pool day, boys. You won’t have much to smile about for the next 4 months.

All teams do things like this idiot. I bet you have never been through a football practice much less 3 in 26 hrs.

This season is already turning out to be a disaster. First the ice cream truck, now the pool. Whats next a Blue Grass Tour bus ride to Toys R Us? What a Joke(no pun intended).
