Cats spank Terriers, 91-57

In their final tuneup before traveling to Chapel Hill, Kentucky looked flat in the first half as they let Boston University hang within striking distance.  After the Cats came out of the break, they looked inspired and extended a five-point halftime lead thanks to a 28 behind a 30-7 run to start the half.  Terrence Jones again looked like an All-American in posting a double-double (18 and 10), but it was the all-around game displayed by Brandon Knight after a poor finish to his Maui trip that was the most refreshing.  The star freshman point guard had 23 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and again looked confident as the team’s ballhandler.  Josh Harrellson also added 12 and 12 for the Cats, who now appear to have their confidence back in time for a showdown with North Carolina on Saturday.
