There were some nerves at the Kentucky Sports Radio Compound as we had a close game for the Cats and for the cash, as the Kentucky (-2) spread was too good to pass up. But the Cats pulled through, beating the Rebels 68-58 in a gutsy win. It was an odd game for the Cats as they shot the ball very well, making the most three pointers of the season. However they broke down on defense uncharacteristically, allowing many offensive rebounds and drives to the basket. Nevertheless, they won…..and that is what matters, especially on the road. As we can see Ole Miss is improving, but so are the Cats…..and with big shots by Joe Crawford and Ramel Bradley down the stretch, the key performers are starting to show themselves.
Eight straight for the Cats…..
