Cats Make The Cut For Two 2012 Players

Two big guys that Kentucky is pursuing for their 2012 recruiting class trimmed their lists this morning and kept the Cats in consideration for now.  Five-star power forwards Mitch McGary and Anthony Bennett both released an updated list of potential suitors this morning, with a handful of similar schools.  McGary placed the Cats in his final six, along with Duke, UNC, Florida, Michigan and Maryland.  Meanwhile, Bennett is keeping his list at 10 schools for now and lumped the Cats in with UConn, Pitt, West Virginia, Florida, Missouri, Ohio State, Washington, UNLV and Oregon.  Both players hold scholarship offers from the Cats.

    5) Yup. Last year spoiled us, too, with all 4 being locked up in quick succession.

It’d be nice to get a top target to commit so Cal can lay off some of the backup options.
