Cats lose two promising football players

News started breaking tonight that UK lost two football players, but after making a few phone calls to a few sources I was able to confirm it’s true.  Both Nermin Delic (So-DE) and Brice Laughlin (DT-FR-R) are no longer a part of UK’s football team.  This is a blow to the defensive line in terms of depth.  I’ll have more later.

Any chance Cordero can get privileges to delete the retard posts like #1 so that football fans don’t have to wade through new-found basketball fans dribbling their nonsense all over posts concerning the revenue-producing sport?

GDit, Rumor on another board is that it was academics with Laughlin, are you hearing he is goen for good or is there a chance he just sits out a year like Cobble and tries to work his way back onto the team?

Why is it that we have such a hard time keeping and developing D-Linemen? Whether it’s injuries or academics we have an uphill battle with the one part of our team that is crucial to success in the SEC. It’s sooooo frustrating!!

Ouch–that hurts. They were going to provide solid depth for us this year.

Really had been expecting both of those players to be good for us this season and into the future. Delic was said to be one of the strongest players on the team when he first got here. Sucks.

#7 – I’d say developing d-linemen have been one of the few bright spots in recent years… Pryor, Peters, Jarmon, and Evans all were solid

Can’t wait for 5-7 this year… thank god student tickets are a bargain

Anybody else, or does that headline make it seem like two Kentucky players DIED? Had to catch my breath after reading the actual post.

You can’t worry about players that do not care enough to keep their grades up! This is all part of football and we need to bring up the next group of players. There is no promise in not being eligible to play!

Guess Donte Rumph and Mister Cobble are going to be working full time. Is Mark Crawford still on the team / eligible? Wonder if these were thefolks Morgan Newton was tweeting about who were unwilling to work hard?
