Kentucky was picked as the #4 seed in the East region and is set to play Ivy League champion Princeton. The Cats are in the East bracket and will play in Tampa Thursday. It was a bit of a curious draw for the Cats, who appeared to be a lock for a #3, but they now get the pleasure of upsetting the tournament’s top overall seed, Ohio State, in the Sweet 16. Actually, considering Florida just got a two, it’s more than curious. It’s f’ing absurd.
The seeds in the East are as follows:
#1 Ohio State
#8 George Mason
#5 West Virginia
