Cats biggest underdog in the BCS this weekend

Yesterday, Joker Phillips said his team is embracing the underdog role heading into the Louisville game. That’s a good thing, because the Cats are the biggest underdog of any BCS conference team this weekend.

Kentucky is currently a fourteen point underdog, but the Cats are turning those bad odds into billboard material. Quarterback Maxwell Smith said it’s an opportunity for the Cats to make a statement:

“Everybody likes being the underdog. You go out and try to prove yourself.”

Team Captain Matt Smith echoed his sentiments:

“The pressure is off of us. We have nothing to lose. We go out there and play the game we know how to play. We’re hoping to shock a lot of people this year.”

Not true…. Kentucky is 13.5 underdog, but Bama is 14 over Michigan according to Danny Sheridan

Typical Bozich article…Short, uninformative & lacking. Especially in the “Proof Reading” portion of his piece. Everything we’ve come to expect from Bozo.

UM +14 is the biggest underdog (and probably one of the best plays all week).

Funny you all are blasting Bozich for his work that wasn’t correct. Shouldnt we blasting Mrs. Tyler Thompson for taking someones elses work (who was wrong to begin with) and trying to write a terrible article to cover her “early mornig deadline”. Next time honey use this thing called the internet like the previous posters before me to check your work.

Earlier today (and at the time of Bozich’s piece), it was correct. That’s the thing about odds, they change all the time. The real point of the post is that the Cats are embracing the underdog role and using it as fuel for the game. Next time, read the post all the way to the end.

Shouldn’t it be “Largest FBS Underdog?”
