Canadian hopes might hang on Jorts

I guess when it really comes down to it, none of us should be too surprised that the guy who made denim famous in these parts has a chance to be the biggest star in the birthplace of the Canadian tuxedo. With Eloy Vargas already out and Enes Kanter’s availability doubtful, Brett Dawson’s report that Coach Cal said Terrence Jones will not play in Canada if he thinks his ankle is still hurt “at all” means that Josh Harrellson isn’t just a prominent name to follow. He’s pretty much the only big guy left on the roster for next weekend’s Windsor Bender (what Drew Franklin is calling it).

It’s probably nothing to get too concerned about, but it should be noted that, depending on the severity of Jones’ ankle situation, it could mean that my grandfather is going to hit everyone who comes within earshot with some sort of injured ankle/Canada “aboot” joke. Proceed with caution.
