Calipari’s Cats after Back-to-Back Losses

Well, yesterday obviously did not go as planned. What was one of the more hyped home games in recent history, turned into a flat second half performance from the Cats. If a positive could be found from losing back-to-back, is that the Cats are 6-0 coming off of back-to-back losses in the Calipari era. They face Georgia on Tuesday at 9pm.

2015-16: Lost: @Kansas, @Tennessee

          Won: vs. Florida

2013-14: Lost: vs. Arkansas, @South Carolina

          Won: vs. Alabama

2012-13: Lost: @Notre Dame, vs. Baylor

   Won: vs. Samford

          Lost: @Florida, @Tennessee

          Won: vs. Vanderbilt

          Lost: @Arkansas, @Georgia

          Won: vs. Florida

Lost: Vanderbilt (SEC Tournament), @Robert Morris (NIT)

          Won: N/A (End of Season)

2010-11: Lost: @Ole Miss, @Florida

   Won: vs. Tennessee

The last time Kentucky lost three in a row? That would date back to February 25th, 2009 to March 7th, 2009,  where the Cats lost four straight to end the regular season.

…..if we do not get a great effort Tuesday night, we could very easily be looking at FOUR in a row…….because Florida down there on Game day will be a bear…….

That’s encouraging, considering 2 of those teams went to the Final Four. There’s still time.
