University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Calipari will join KSR in West Liberty tomorrow

We’ve received confirmation from UK that Coach Cal will be joining us for tomorrow’s radio show in West Liberty, Kentucky. Cal was originally scheduled to do a phone interview but now he’s making the trip out to do it in person and help raise money for the West Liberty/Morgan County tornado relief effort.

Calipari will meet us downtown, where the Commercial Bank once stood, for the second hour of the show. We encourage you to come out, listen, see your favorite basketball coach, and make a contribution if you can. We’ll also have a link on the show thread for those who would like to donate online.

For all the people that pass judgement on Cal’s morals so easily, I wish they would pay attention to his non-basketball impact to communities.

In the big scheme of things.. this is what matters

I look for the NCAA to step in as it seems West Liberty will be receiving “improper benefits”. Cal will be stripped of his visit to West Liberty and West Liberty will no longer have visits for the next 3 years.

#7, you took the words out of my mouth. Even if everything that has ever been said about his recruiting practices were true, you can’t deny that the man does good in the world.

I am in tears that Cal, is coming too my place of residence tomorrow i and my entire family will be there too welcome Cal. Anybody no the convoy time and route or will he fly in if so were will he land. So i know where to be and have our welcome signs for Cal ready. This is better than having the president visit. I’m sure the town will be shut down tommorrow, heard the mayor has asked that the Natl Guard be brought in for crowd control they gonna need it. Matt have you contacted the state police for extra security.

Man, he just “gets it.” Cal is just a good dude, first and foremost. He knows the power that the coaches seat at UK holds, and he uses it to better our program, city, state, nation, and even world. (Hatian benefit anyone) The combination of Cal and the generosity of the BBN is a what sports should be about. Cal knows what his Legacy will be, and it won’t be defined by any NCAA record book.

Dougie, get the boys up and dressed up in their best UK clothes, so you can get a picture of them with Cal and the NCAA trophy. Then get it framed and put it on fatpa’s mantle. Then you and fatpa can go back to work.

Jill-Do you even realize how your posts cast a poor light on the school you support? They are all low-class, poorly worded diatribes. Now you are casting aspersions on an endeavor that no one in their right mind would criticize. You are so pathetic I actually feel sorry for you.
