Calipari Reaches out to John Wooden
Great story today from Andy Katz about John Calipari reaching out to John Wooden for advice before the Florida game. Wooden apparently told Calipari that he should play fewer people and make his rotation smaller now, rather than during the Tournament. The article is very interesting for a number of reasons, but I find it great that Calipari is seeking advice from the closest thing to college basketball royalty that exists in modern times. One could say he “gets it.”
