Calipari opens online store for coaching instructional videos
John Calipari is at it again. Last night, he opened an online store for nearly 40 practice videos detailing the coaching methods and drills he’s used over the years to take his teams to the Final Four, National Championship, and several players to the NBA. The videos, which range in length from two minutes to 20-plus minutes, include various skills and teaching points on shooting, defense, the Dribble Drive Motion Offense and more. The pricing of each coaching drill varies from free to $2.99. All proceeds from each video purchased go directly to The Calipari Foundation.
We’ve been given access to one of the free videos showing Cal’s drills for point guards in the Dribble Drive Offense, which we’ve posted above. Cal said releasing the videos is just another way he’s making the program more transparent and accessible to the fans:
“We talk about being different and transparent, and I believe this is another one of those things. These coaching drills are another way that we can show everyone what we’re teaching and how we’re teaching. They are available to players, coaches, fans and whoever else wants them. The great thing with this is all the revenue is going straight to the foundation to be used for projects that the foundation is investing in.”

Does this pain anyone else watching this type of thing or thinking about that John Wall Team? We were the best team in the country by far that year and to know we didn’t win just hurts still… Maybe i’m the only one?
I hope the last video in the series explains what not to do after winning a Championship!! No book tours, television features, etc…… The send one to Rick!
Tom Crean just purchased every video available.
Watched it. That was pretty awesome.
So glad I still haven’t seen that Rick tattoo video. Woulda ruined my day.
You can really see why Hood was Mr. Basketball…he looked great in that drill
Damn, Eric had some bad handles at that point.
