Calipari may bring All-Access cameras back

Want more All-Access Kentucky?  Of course you do.  We all do.  And we might get it.

John Calipari said in an interview with Colin Cowherd this morning that he might let ESPN back in the building to film another round of All-Access Kentucky later this year.  He didn’t elaborate on why or in what format, but Cal did acknowledge that there is potential for more exclusive, behind-the-scenes coverage of his Wildcats from ESPN.

All in favor, say Go Cats.

Go Cats.

This just in…Cal has agreed to do this so he can have the Wiggins announcement be part of the show like the Harrisons. Recruiting 101.

Im not sure if this is a good idea. They just need to focus on playing basketball and winning games not espn. Just my opinion.

#5) Calipari doesn’t have bad ideas. If he says we need it, we need it. Publicity is where its at folks

7 I agree but it doesnt make it easier when they have cameras following you around during the season as a constant reminder, just feel like it hurts our team this year more than it helps.

Probably wants to show more of the family side, show that it’s not just a basketball academy.

I was semi-glad that they stopped it when they did, because I think this team needs some time to focus and build. The reality show might’ve been even more of a target on their back.

What is wrong with you people? We spend 90% of our time saying that ESPN doesnt tak about us enough unless its a negative. Here we have a show that is incredibly positive and other schools hate it and our jealous. The show was fantastic, give me more!

I don’t agree with either 5 or 10. I believe that Cal is much more than either of them.

They must be dang ole UL/IU fans. Or fans of some other inferior program.

yeah i was glad when they stopped. 1st episode was great but after that, we were overexposed and entering ‘jump the shark territory’ with too many more. i know he says its not for everyone, but i was worried it could have hurt recruiting in some regards. especially how depressed archie and harrow looked.
Made Cal look like a boot camp instructor because that is his job. might be nice to see them come back towards the end of the season after everyone graduates bootcamp and shows how they appreiate what the boot camp did for them before they turn pro.

I listened to the show when he was on there…

He said that he may bring them back in 30 days or so to show the improvement that we’ve made and show the difference in how he coaches at the beginning of the year vs down the road when it is the “players’ team” and they have been empowered to run the team.

I just hope the NCAA doesn’t try to change the rules on us midway through these things, saying it’s an unfair advantage. I don’t put anything past that corrupt organization anymore.

Over heard Cal complaining one day about all access. He said the SEC forced them to stop producing the show.

It’s called recruiting; bring back the cameras once we are better & the offense is running right.

It’s obvious Cal wants ESPN behind the scenes at the end of the NCAA tournament to watch the Cats win it. How much of a recruiting tool would that be?!
