Vaughn is the No. 2 shooting guard in the 2014 class, according to

Hopefully, UK’s pitch for Vaughn will be better than Baylor’s attempt back in July:

Wow. Could this be a Cal-Tubby recruiting battle? I’d like our chances there!

Please tell me our recruiting letters don’t look like that. All that’s missing is that miniature giraffe from the Direct TV commercial.

Papyrus… never a good choice. Damn, did Scott Drew decide he was a graphic designer for that one?

King of Baylor? Leading the Christians out of the desert to the promised land of the Final Four. Nice religious imagery there.

Wow, probably the cheesiest letter I’ve ever seen. I wonder if anyone actually thought about how desperate it makes them look before sending it out.

This thing looks like it was designed in the 70s… lol. Surely this was not from the school.

Keep it simple Cal…talk about the draft picks in the NBA the last 3 years…easy choice if he can handle the pressure of Big Blue Nation

This could be Baylor’s secret weapon. All of you claiming it is cheesy (and likewise ineffective) are crazy. This is brilliant stuff imo. Kids today love this sort of imagery. We need some smart graphic design students at UK to up this concept a notch to show that kid shaking hands with David Stern at the NBA draft or hoisting the NCAA title trophy amongst the throngs of blue clad fans. Sorry guys, but I like it.

    12. Kentucky doesn’t need to do that crap. Baylor does it because they aren’t elite. It looks lame and desperate. Besides, no one player here is king. When you come to Kentucky you play with several elite players and aren’t “the guy.”

Any truth to the rumor I’ve heard about the NCAA banning teams from wearing the neon shoes & socks this yr? God I hope so.

Possibly one of the lamest recruiting efforts ever. Completely cringe-worthy. LMAO I’m gonna go out on a limb and suggest Drew was not an English major.
