Cal and the ESPN All-Access crew start the day off at Wheeler’s

The ESPN All-Access crews are in town and following Cal through his daily routine, which means breakfast at Wheeler’s Pharmacy. Oscar Combs tweeted some pictures from the meal, which also included former Kentucky great Sam Bowie. True to form, Cal didn’t miss out on the opportunity to pick his mind on how to play his new set of “Twin Towers.” He also gave the Wheeler’s regulars some insider tidbits on this year’s squad, but you know what they say: what happens in Wheeler’s stays in Wheeler’s.

Coolest “Breakfast Club” ever?

The man is living the dream. I’m green with envy. I bet there are some good stories told in that place every morning. I love sitting around and listening to old timers talk.

It’s always fun when Oscar Combs and Lonnie are in there. Oftentimes Joe B spins some yarns.
