Everyone’s favorite ambassador to Africa (non-Jared Carter division) recently finished up his goodwill trip/summit participation in the continent that brought us that babe Lucy and, luckily for us, he kept a running blog of his time there. Azubuike, as we hyped up before, took part in the Leon H. Sullivan Summit VIII, which brought the “world’s political and business leaders, delegates representing national and international civil and multinational organizations” in order to focus their attention on improving Africa’s economy and living conditions. While the NBA is certainly a multi-national organization, I still haven’t put my finger on exactly how Azubuike fits in (that’s what she said).
All kidding aside, Azubuike is exactly the type of guy that you want representing your school and we’re lucky to have him as a former Wildcat. His NBA career is on the rise and he’s always proven himself to be a polite, intelligent guy, which scores him all kinds of points with me. Plus, check out that smile. It melts hearts. Good work, Buike. Now, make us proud and opt out of that contract this summer and cash in big-time. Or, at least sign with the Mavs because I’m questioning my own fanhood these days.
