Bud Dupree named ESPN Preseason All-SEC

Congrats to Alvin “Bud” Dupree, who was UK’s lone representative on ESPN’s Preseason All-SEC team. Dupree, a junior, has played in every single game since coming to UK in 2011, and last season, totaled 91 tackles, which was good enough for 10th in the SEC. He also had 12.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks, and was one of the bright spots in an otherwise dismal season.

Dupree will get some much-needed help this season, with big Za’Darius Smith lining up on the opposite end. Something tells me we may see him on some postseason All-SEC lists before long.
