BTI’s Rants and Ramblings: To Tase or not to Tase?

Phillies fan Tasered while rushing field

Look, this is really simple: DON’T BE AN IDIOT AND BAD THINGS WON’T HAPPEN TO YOU.

What’s most glaring about this “story” is that the moron who ran on the field went to the game with his father called his father and asked him if he should run on the field, and the father called a friend to try and get him to stop.  Let me explain something: I am man in my 20’s, and I can tell you in that exact same situation, my father would have physically hurt me if I tried to run onto a field, even today.

Point being: THE DAD SHOULD HAVE BEEN TASED TOO, JUST AS PUNISHMENT FOR SUCKING AS A DAD.

In my opinion, EVERY person that runs on the field should get tased.  I encourage it and enjoy seeing the idiots of the world flop like a dead fish.  Plus, the people that actually have to chase these jack-donkeys around can avoid any chance of injury themselves with the use of a taser blast.

And in this particular instance, alcohol was not involved!  This kid, stone sober, with his father sitting right next to him (Ed. Note: I suck), jumps on the field and thinks that is a good idea.  I say ban him from any Phillies game forever.  He disrupted the Phillies attempt at providing an entertaining game, so I say the Phillies should disrupt him from ever attending their events again.

But, the question here is this: should this kid have been tased?  Was he a danger on the field?  Should tasing become common practice for people who run onto the field at sporting events?
