1) More charts and graphs explaining the ins and outs of college football. Very funny stuff.
2) I don’t know why I keep posting this, because its really just torturous just to think how much fun this would be. Even cut this in half, and it would be three of the best weeks of football.
3) Lebron James says he is going to give up his #23 jersey to honor Michael Jordan. 2 questions come to mind with this decision:
a. Should the NBA permanantly retire Jordan’s jersey, like they did with Jackie Robinson in baseball?
b. Is James actual motive to bring more money to himself by making people buy his jersey with a new number?
4) By now, you know what Bill Belichick did last night, going for it on 4th down late in the 4th quarter and deep in his own zone, basically costing his team the game. While even I can agree it is ridiculous to go for that in that situation, consider this:
a. If the Pats convert that, is Belichick considered a “genius” and “crafty”?
b. I think if that play had been reviewed, it would have been determined the Pats actually DID convert that. Which brings me to the fact that the key problem was New England burned all their timeouts and couldn’t challenge.
c. If the Pats punt, do you think Peyton Manning and the Colts still score? I do.
d. If the lead was only 3 points, do the Pats punt or still go for it? I would hope they would punt.
