1) Congrats to the Indiana St Sycamores, who broke a 33-game losing streak this weekend.  Why do I even bring it up?  Because our good friends at the University of Louisville played the Sycamores earlier this season.  And was losing in the 2nd quarter.  And only won by 20.  The next 4 games, against all 1-AA opponents, ISU lost by 31, 21, 48, and 55 points, all while scoring ONLY 7 points combined in the games.  They scored 10 against Louisville alone.  And the Cards got BLASTED again this weekend, losing to Cincinnati by 31.

2) Speaking of the Cards, maybe there is hope that Steve Kragthorpe can return next season.  Because Illinois just OK’d Ron Zook for another season, and he’s 1-6 with all losses coming by double digits.

3) Is there a person who’s reputation has taken a greater hit AFTER his career than Isiah Thomas?  I mean, most people and their flaws are forgotten when they retire.  Mickey Mantle was a complete drunk during his career, and now people consider him a hero.  Michael Jackson molested children, and now that he is dead, he is considered the greatest musician of his era.  But Isiah, who’s reputation was pretty good when he retired, has now destroyed an entire league (CBA) and basically destroyed an NBA team (Knicks), and now in a book by Magic Johnson, he was supposedly spreading questions about Magic’s sexuality.  Turns out Isiah was kinda a jerk (and thats the cleanest word I can use).

4) What in the hell is wrong with Phillies fans?  They act like they haven’t won a pennant in 75 years.  Can’t wait to see what Cubs fans ever do if they win the Series.
