OK, just one more day of what is now called the Most Memorable UK Shot Mediocre Tournament.  Clearly hitting shots in the NCAA Tournament carries more weight than difficulty of shot as Scott Padgett crushed Tayshaun Prince in the semis.  Here is the final matchup:

(4) Scott Padgett gives UK lead against Duke in 1998
(2) Sean Woods give UK lead against Duke in 1992

Semifinal Results (45 votes)

(4) Padgett 3-pointer: 38
(1) Prince 3-pointer: 9

(2) Sean Woods runner: 25
(6) Sparks 3-pointer: 22

Rekalin Sims
Shagari Alleyne
Randolph Morris

So, you can also go ahead and let me know what the 2 wildcards should be.

-Cbssportsline has been spending the last week or two counting down team rankingsin college football for the decade.  UK ranks 73rd out of 120 total teams, but the writer admits that since 2006, the “dark days” of the program have ended.  Lil’ brother comes in at 18th.  Steve Kragthorpe should rectify that in a couple more years.

-Hey, Michael Phelps won another gold medal this weekend!!!  What’s that Tomlin?  This wasn’t the Olympics?  Oh, then I really don’t give a care.
