Interesting sports angle on this story out of Massachusets about a prominent black professor being arrested for trying to get into his house after locking his keys inside. Anyway, the cop who the professor called “racist” was also the same cop who tried to revive a dying Boston Celtics player Reggie Lewis in 1993. But, what almost sorta makes this comical is that the cop claims this proves he is not a racist, because he tried to revive Lewis. You know, for all the bad reputation the South has for racism, Boston has as many if not more race problems it seems.
I really hope everyone got to watch the 9th inning of Mark Buehrle’s perfect game yesterday because it was incredibly exciting, especially since its baseball. First, the catch by Dwayne Wise is no doubt one of the 10 best plays I ever seen when you consider situation. Then, the strikeout pitch Buehrle threw for the second out was SICK. Especially since it was a 3-2 count and he had a perfect game going. Really cool moment to watch live.
