UK’s likely road to the championship (Ole Miss, LSU, South Carolina, Tennessee) is against teams that the Cats have a 12-2 SEC Tournament record against.
1. Take a stroll back on memory lane to April 6, 2007, or better known as the day Billy G was hired. Read through the comments, and lament over how things have changed. Two things stand out to me from the comments: The belief that Billy G was a great X’s and O’s coach, and how he was going to bring an up-tempo style of play to the commonwealth. The overall lesson learned is as fans, we need to be patient before jumping to conclusions about how successful a coach will be. In much of the same way we shouldn’t yet jump to conclusions on if Billy G will be a failure here.
2. If you read this Bubble Report from cnnsi.com, the Cats chances at the NCAA Tournament are not so bleak. I think we all are a little bit blinded by how terrible this team is playing, and its hard to imagine them getting to the SEC Final, BUT if they do, they will be back in the mix.
3. So now soccer ball boys are in the act of cheating. My distain only grows.
