1. ESPN prestige list #20-11 (notable: Louisville #16, Arkansas #15, Indiana #13)

My thoughts: Thought Louisville would be in the 10-12 range and Indiana in the 8-10 range, but I have been baffled by this list from the beggining, so whats new.  And I will continue to say I dont care what the points say, Florida has been more prestigious over this time period than Temple and Xavier.

Here are the remaining 10 teams with where I think they will be ranked.  Feel free to predict your Top 10.

1) Duke (their excellence can’t be matched)
2) North Carolina (they have only gone 2-6 in semifinal games since 1985)
3) Kansas (blah blah, consistent exellence)
4) Kentucky (the place they are really hurt is not the probation but overall Final Four appearances)
5) UCONN (their run in the past 15 years is at the top, but the years before it hurts them)
6) Syracuse (sudden flashes of greatness (1987, 1996, 2003) but not great consistency like top teams)
7) Arizona (the poor man’s Kansas, very consistent, missed opportunities)
8) UCLA (look it up, they are not as great as you might think over this time period)
9) Georgetown (great in the 1980’s, OK in the 1990’s, back to greatness recently)
10) UNLV (while only winning one title, had a bunch of 30-win seasons and some great players)

2. Good article by Brad King about how does their rankings

3. Rick Bozich article on the lesson learned from GJ Villarino and the risk of early commitments

4. New names on the recruiting trail for UK (Keith Gallon, Josh Smith, Meyers Leonard, Lavonte Dority)

5. The Courier-Journal starts looking at the Governor’s Cup (today they focus on the holes in each team)

6. Brooks continues to not set timetable for QB battle (kinda sounds like a president i know)

7. Minor League brawl leads to fan injury

8. Underrated Chokers (seems like an oxymoron)

9. Nothing like a husband pranking his wife
