Braxton Miller was Ohio States’ quarterback until he was pre-season ruled out because of a shoulder injury (torn labrum in right shoulder). Before the Buckeyes got to really playing, people expected this to be the end of their projected great season. Now that we’re where we are now, we know that it hasn’t really been an issue for the team, who was just great with J.T. Barrett, until he also got hurt (fractured ankle). Cardale Jones, in his second career start, lead the team to a shocking victory over Alabama on New Years day. While the future of the Ohio State QB position is unknown, one thing is certain: Miller made an uh-oh on twitter.
You know those tweets that say things like “RT for blue, FAV for white”? I never would have guessed that athletes actually participate when their teams are involved, and maybe they shouldn’t be allowed to after Miller’s blunder.
Oops. Looks like Miller is cheering for… the Ducks? He took to twitter after realizing his mistake to “issue a statement.”
When it was brought to his attention, by a follower, that he “broke the internet,” he then responded with one of the best meme responses I’ve seen in a while.
All and all, it’s not a big deal. He obviously doesn’t want Oregon to win. It’s funny when people who are treated like super humans prove that they’re just regular 22-year-old kids. Check on his twitter @BraxtonMiller5 to see if more comes from this.
