Drew Barker, Thaddeus Snodgrass and several of Kentucky’s top recruits are currently in Oregon for The Opening, a four-day competition for the nation’s top prospects. Wide receivers Braxton Berrios, TV Williams, and Artavis Scott competed in the Nike SPARQ combine yesterday, and Berrios did particularly well, posting the fastest shuttle time at 3.81 seconds. Check out Drew Barker’s video of it:
My boy Berrios just killed that shuttle!!! by @db_714
Berrios also posted a 4.48 40, which, keep in mind, was run over grass (4.52 was the official time listed):
The four-star wideout finished in the top 5 overall, and lists Kentucky among his favorites, along with South Carolina, Clemson, Tennessee, and West Virginia; however, word on the street is Miami is interested, which may put them in the mix. He competes in the 7-on-7 today. Three-star WR TV Williams posted the second highest shuttle time at 3.83, one of only four players to come in at under four seconds.
Drew Barker and Thaddeus Snodgrass also compete in the 7-on-7 today. So far, Drew’s not listed in the final 11 QBs, so hopefully he’ll have a big showing to make up some ground. We’ll give you updates throughout the day.
