Brady Taylor to announce college decision next Monday

Three-star offensive tackle Brady Taylor visited Kentucky over the weekend and today, tweeted that he will announce his college decision next Monday at 4 p.m.:

Taylor, Rivals’ 57th best offensive tackle in the nation, is down to Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and the Cats. The 6’5″ 264 lbs. Taylor hails from–you guessed it–Ohio, and said last week that he thinks Kentucky has the best fan base in the country. This afternoon, Taylor also tweeted that he may visit Virginia Tech again this weekend, and that he really enjoyed meeting all of the Kentucky commitments in Lexington.

Come on down and let us show you some more, Brady.

Better ask Jeff how he feels about this. He probably thinks we should be recruiting more Georgia kids.

This guy looks like he loves tOSU. Maybe he should walk on there & earn a schollie. Unfortunately, there’s a good chance a couple players at his position will eventually get kicked off the team for arrest records. [And I am a tOSU fan, so I say that sadly]

Any word on Nick Richardson? He was the 4 star OL deciding between us and vanderbutt. If we get Brady Taylor does that mean were out on Richardson? Is it also wierd that I’m looking at who he’s deciding between and feel like we’re beating out the eastern Michigans and troys of the world again? #StoopsEffect

@1 That is sad. BBN needs to keep that family in our thoughts and prayers, I know how bad we would take it if something happened to someone that played for Kentucky.

On a lighter note, BBN needs to take to twitter and show Brady Taylor some love, to get better in the SEC we’re going to need good players in the trenches and 57th in the country sounds pretty good to me.

@5. If we got Taylor that might take us out of the running with Richardson but honestly in a conference as brutal as the SEC you really can’t have too many linemen, they get banged up every play.

@4 If you were a “TOSU FAN” you would know he doesn’t have an offer from “TOSU.”

#8 – that’s why he said walk-on at OSU and earn a schollie. If you’re going to be a jerk, at least get your facts straight.

You feel that West Virginia and Virginia Tech are similar to Troy and Eastern Michigan? WVU is often a top 25 program and Tech could be legitimately called a powerhouse. You’re either stupid or a troll, which one is it?

We will get both Taylor and Richardson

PostHave been told this is what the Cats are looking to fill.3 receivers,3 offensive lineman,1-2 defensive linemen,1 cornerback. It’s possible Elam would be the only other DL but not a given. Was also told UK ‘has to’ sign another cornerback. LB was not mentioned but still believe Purifoy, Lee, etc., would be a take. Not sure how that would affect recruiting at other positions. I’ve seen some say UK might just take four total receivers. I suppose that’s possible but the depth is horrible right now. They have legit shots at elite Ohio talent in Marshon Lattimore and Marcelys Jones. Also you have Purifoy they are trying to flip from FSU but we just have to wait and see. They really want Richardson and Taylor but both wanted to talk it over with their families

    14. Interesting, that would put the class at 28-29. I hope we get Lee or Purifoy. You Really think they have a legit shot at those 2 from Glenville? Would luv to see Marshon as a 2way player. I heard their were 2 verbal Yahtzees over the weekend

15- we can take 28, we just have to have 3 early enrollees out of the 28. We have a.very good shot at Lattimore…he LOVED Stoops and Peveto.

If im correct we still have a 85 overall scholarship limit. Have 80 on scholarship now with 3 transfers coming in. Only loose 13 seniors this year. By my math we will have to loose about 10 more off of current roster to even sign 25.

17, the twins are walk-on status but they will figure it out…also you have had 3 dismissed so there is 5 and we lose 15 seniors so there is 20 and they will finagle the numbers to get to 25. The other 3 dont count towards 2014 if they enroll in december. So you only have to really make room for 5

18, my number already included the dismissals and I only count 13 seniors. But I could be off. Still hearing mixed opinions on if the twins are schol. or not.
