Boogie putting in work

It’s not all red carpets and pre-award show parties for Boogie Cousins this week. The big fella is working his tail off as the Team USA mini-camp approaches.

Kings head coach Michael Malone and team management flew to Mobile, Al. recently to let DeMarcus know they consider him the cornerstone of the franchise and they plan to build around him.┬áHe’s working hard to not let them, and Team USA, down when he returns to the court.

DeMarcus averaged 17.1 points and 9.9 rebounds last season. That fraction of a rebound keeping him from a double-double is also a motivator this offseason.

The Heat should try to develop Varnado. His shot blocking down low would be invaluable.

Looks like Big Cuz is taking this offseason seriously and looking to improve more than before. He’s going to be an All Star sooner rather than later, the sky is the limit. Amazing to think of all the great big guys we’ve had at UK lately

I would like to see DC have a year with no technicals, and show he has matured as a person. I know he is not a bad person…. I just like to see him prove all the Cousins haters wrong.
